First Sacraments
(Penance and Eucharist)
The Archdiocese of Seattle requires that children receiving the Sacraments of First Penance and First Eucharist be enrolled in either a Catholic school or Faith Formation program for one year prior to the year of Sacramental preparation. Traditionally the children in the second grade are prepared for the first Sacraments. Parents are required to attend at least two parent meetings for each Sacrament.
